Jeanette was a homemaker, a farm wife and retired from the Black Hawk County clerk of courts office in Waterloo in 1994. Jeanette and Jerry had been married for 55 years. They enjoyed time spent together with family at their cabin in Lansing for years and after that enjoyed winters in Texas. They enjoyed traveling. Jeanette loved cooking, baking, sewing and making beautiful quilts. Jeanette was a Brownie, Girl Scout and 4-H leader. Jeanette adored her grandchildren. They were the light of her life and it showed in everything she did and the time she spent with them. Jeanette was a fun-loving, caring, strong woman with a huge heart and a great sense of humor. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. Memorials can be sent to Richardson Funeral Home in Cedar Falls.
