Jean Ann Puffett, 90, of Manchester, passed away Monday, May 18, 2015, at the Edgewood Convalescent Home.
Jean, the daughter of Earl and Donna Durey, was born April 21, 1925, on her parent's farm. Jean was raised and educated in the area and graduated from Delhi High School. She was then employed by Grove's Pharmacy in Manchester. On Aug. 28, 1946, Jean was united in marriage to Harold Puffett at Strawberry Point. The couple farmed on the Puffett home farm until 1976 when they retired and moved to Manchester.
Surviving are her three children, George and Donna Puffett of Strawberry Point, Lois Childs of Manchester and Randall and Kaye Puffett of Rockford, Ill.; four grandchildren, Nick ( Joni) Puffett, Jay Puffett, Sam Childs and Hannah Childs; one great-grandchild, Ella Puffett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; her parents; and four siblings, Harriet Kimberlin, Hazel Schnittjer, Earl Durey and James Durey.

Following Jean's request, a private family graveside service was held.
