Jean Marie Flynn, 74, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020. Services will be held at a later date. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids is assisting the family.
Jean was born Aug. 15, 1946, in Canton, Minn., the daughter of Calvin and Velma (Bestor) Ruesink. She was united in marriage to Donald Flynn on Feb. 13, 1965. Jean worked as a home health aide for Mercy and St. Luke's Hospitals until her retirement in 2005.
Survivors include her son, Alan (Mary Lee) Flynn; grandchildren, Darolann Crespin, Joseph (Maggie) Crespin, Michael Flynn and Morgan Flynn; great-grandchild, Miyah Crespin; sisters, Virginia Young and Sharon Sears; and grandpuppy, Shadow.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Flynn; and son, Steven Flynn.
