Jayne was born on June 26, 1938, the daughter of William and Frances Emanuel. She married Dallas Kaegbein, but later divorced; however, they remained good friends.
Jayne was a fantastic housewife and a great mother to four kids. She loved to spend time outside and loved caring for her animals, especially feeding the birds and taking very good care of her cats. You also could catch her playing video games on her tablet, pulling those handles on the slot machine or jamming out to Rock n Roll music.
Jayne is survived by her children, Mike (Nina) of Cheyenne, Wyo., Russ (Melissa) of Cedar Rapids, Scott of Cedar Rapids and Amber (TJ) Clefisch of Cedar Rapids. She also is survived by nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, as well as many others who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to SAINT Cat Rescue and Adoption Center in Cedar Rapids, in honor and memory of her cats she loved and raised.
