Jay Berry, 64, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and resident of Iowa City, Iowa, for over 40 years, passed away May 26, 2022, in Iowa City after a brief, courageous battle with cancer.
He leaves behind three siblings, Robin Berry of Cleveland, Ohio, Pam Berry of Apex, N.C., and Jack Berry of Cleveland, Ohio, along with extended family members, numerous friends, loved ones and colleagues to remember his passion for good wine and food and his interest in sharing this enthusiasm with everyone around him.
Honoring Jay's wishes, there will be no public services. Cards may be sent to the family of Jay Berry, c/o Lensing Funeral Home, P.O. Box 167, Iowa City, IA 52244.
