Jason Elliott Osterkamp, 50, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022. Memorial service: 3 p.m. Thursday, May 12, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Jason was born May 20, 1971, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Charles and Sheri (Loeffler) Osterkamp. He was a union painter for 30 years. He was proud to be affiliated with Painters Local 447 and the Cedar Rapids School District. He enjoyed fishing, was passionate about vehicles, specifically trucks, and would give a helping hand to anyone in need. Most of all, Jason loved his family and his work.
Survivors include daughters, Madalyn Osterkamp of San Diego, Calif., and Isabela Osterkamp of Marion; parents, Sheri and Charles Osterkamp of Cedar Rapids; brother, Marcus (Lesley) Osterkamp of Cedar Rapids; nieces, Heather and Cassidy Osterkamp; and his former wife, Stephanie Osterkamp.
Jason was preceded in death by his two beloved dogs, Cinnamon Toast Crunch Osterkamp and Sophie Osterkamp.
