Jason Bradley Bruns, 51,
of Manchester, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022, at the Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, following a short and courageous battle with cancer. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 26, at the Falcon Center, Central City, Iowa, conducted by Pastor James Wolf.
Jason was born Dec. 31, 1970, in Cedar Rapids, to Ronald and Linda (Clausen) Bruns. He graduated from North Linn High School in 1989. On Aug. 21, 2004, he was united in marriage to Lenita Wireman at Baileys Ford outdoor chapel near Manchester.
He is survived and lovingly missed by his wife, Lenita of Manchester; four children, Rebecca (Cody) Miller of Guttenburg, Dakota McNeil of Coggon, Cody Weber of Cedar Rapids and Dylan Bruns of Manchester; three granddaughters; one grandson; mother, Linda Bruns of Marion; silbings, Scott Bruns of Marion, Kevin (Megan) Bruns of Troy Mills and Shawn (Tracy) Bruns of Cedar Rapids; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Bruns; and maternal and paternal grandparents.
