Janice “Vera” Marie Mullan, 66, of Mechanicsville, Iowa, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital. Visitation: 4:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 28, 2025, Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Mount Vernon, Iowa. Funeral: 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 29, 2025, Community Christian Church, Mechanicsville. Burial: Rose Hill Cemetery.
Janice was born on July 11, 1959, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Donald and Wanda (Reed) Weber. She was united in marriage to Stanley Mullan on July 7, 2007, in Cedar Rapids.
Janice graduated from Lincoln Community School, Stanwood, Iowa, in 1977. She worked for BAE, Rockwell Collins for 36 years. Janice was a member of the Mechanicsville Legion Auxiliary, Post 309. She was an avid Hawkeye Fan and enjoyed traveling to various places.
Janice is survived by her mother, daughter, Mandi (Frank Tarr) Weber; grandchildren, Jacob Tarr and Ciera Tarr; great-granddaughter, Adelyn Oakes; siblings, Ron (Diane) Weber, Connie (Rick) Pruess, and Sally (Mike) Berry; several nieces & nephews; and one great-niece & -nephew.
Janice was preceded in death by her father, husband, and brother, Mike Weber.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of Mandi Weber.
