Janice Ann Sojka, 72, of Ainsworth, died Thursday, April 30, 2015, at the M.L. McCreedy Home in Washington following a lengthy illness. Mass of the Resurrection will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, at St.
James Catholic Church in Washington, with Father Bernie Weir officiating. Visitation will begin at noon Monday at Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Prayer services will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington.
Memorials have been established for the M.L. McCreedy Home.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald Sojka of Ainsworth; daughter, Rhonda Johnson and husband Eric of Bellville, Ohio; son, Ronald Sojka and wife Shelli of Ainsworth; four grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; sister, Marietta Cook of Bowling Green, Ky.; stepbrother, Pete Swearingen of What Cheer; half siblings, David Keller and wife Kathy of Derby, Iowa, Vicki Thomas of What Cheer, Patti Davis of Des Moines and Dennis Keller of Hayesville; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
