Janice L. Lamphier, 93, formerly of Oelwein, died Friday, Sept. 29, 2017, at Maple Crest Manor, Fayette. Mass of Christian Burial: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oelwein. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Monday and 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein. Parish scripture service: 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein.
A memorial fund has been established for the Sacred Heart Rosary Society and Maynard American Legion.
