A Mass of Christian Burial for Janice Kron, 64, of Kalona, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 3, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Richmond with Father David Brownfield and Deacon Derick Cranston officiating. Burial will follow at the Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, with a prayer vigil at 7 p.m., at the Peterseim Funeral Home, Kalona.
A memorial fund has been established for Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Palliative Care Center at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Jan Kron died Sunday, March 30, 2014, at the University of Iowa Hospital following a short illness.
