Janet Jane Niebes Lingo Zimmerman, 79, of Mc-Kinney, Texas, passed away in Mc-Kinney on Sunday, May 25, 2014.
Janet was born in Belle Plaine, Iowa, on Nov. 5, 1934, to Marjorie and Orrie Niebes. She attended Franklin High School in Cedar Rapids. Janet married James Lingo and together they had two sons, Jim and Jeff.
Janet is survived by her sons, Jim (Wendy) of Mount Dora, Fla., and Jeff (Heather) of Plano, Texas; and grandsons, Mike (Uma) of Forest Park, Ill., Mitch of Omaha, Neb., and Jared of College Station, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Joan; husband, James; and second husband, Donald Zimmerman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Janet Jane Niebes Lingo Zimmerman's name to the United Lutheran Church of Bella Vista, Ark.
Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory.
