Janet Marre Hoffey, 77, died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, at her daughter's home surrounded by her family. She passed away from progressive supranuclear palsy and Parkinson's disease.
Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 23 (9 to 10:30 a.m.), followed by Mass (10:30 to 11:30 a.m.) and a luncheon (11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.) at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Iowa City. A burial will follow at 1:15 p.m. at St. Joseph's Cemetery. A full obituary will follow in Saturday's Gazette.
