Janet R. Cooper, 69, of Cedar Rapids, passed Monday, March 9, 2015. Inurnment of Jan & Bert Cooper will be at Springville Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa of Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren, Scott (Robin), Matthew (May), Morgan and Jacob; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Agnes Bohm and Arnold Stoltenberg; her husband, Bert; a sister, Ann Bohm; and a brother, Frederick Bohm.
Jan was born May 17, 1945, the daughter of Walter and Agnes (Miner) Bohm in Cedar Rapids. She was a graduate of Washington High School. Jan married Bert J. Cooper on Feb. 3, 1967. He passed in 1989.
Jan loved all animals. She enjoyed Scrabble, cooking and slot machines. Jan was very caring and kindhearted. She always saw the good things no matter how hard they seemed and handled them with grace and humor.
