Janecek, Sally R.
Sally R. Janecek, 63, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at St. Luke's Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Salvation Army, 1000 C Ave. NW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Inurnment: Monti Cemetery. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, Louis M. Janecek I of Cedar Rapids; children, David Cejka Jr. of Oklahoma, Deanna Cejka of Minnesota, Dennis Cejka of Vinton, John (Rose) Cejka of Cedar Rapids, Dawn Janecek of Cedar Rapids, and Louis M. Janecek II of Cedar Rapids; 19 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and one sister, Susan Olmsted of Hiawatha.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Hazel (Robinson) Franks Sr.; four sisters, Shirley Reid, Sandy Crawford, Sheryl Drievold, and Sharon Franks; and one brother, Harold Franks Jr.
Sally was born on Dec. 21, 1949, in Cedar Rapids, daughter of Harold and Hazel (Robinson) Franks Sr. She attended Washington High School. On March 19, 1976, she married Louis M. Janecek I in Cedar Rapids. Sally was a stay-at-home mother where she raised her children. Sally collected Indian memorabilia, and enjoyed bingo, watching wrestling, trips to Las Vegas, and listening to Kenny Rogers and Elvis.
