JANE E. SETZER

Jane E. Setzer, 83, passed away April 30, 2021, in Coralville, Iowa. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 6, at Gay & Ciha Funeral Home, 2720 Muscatine Ave., Iowa City. A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday,
May 7, gathering at the cemetery at 10:30 a.m., at South Amana Cemetery, Q Street, South Amana, east of 220th Trail and Q Street intersection, two blocks north Highway 6 Trail. Masks are asked to be worn and social distancing guidelines will be followed during the service.
Jane is survived by her cherished daughters, Lisa (Brad) Smotherman and Caroline (Judy Smith) Setzer; grandchildren, Ginalise (George) Horcher and Zach Smith; and great-granddaughter, Piper Amelia Horcher.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Roy; son, Roy Theodore Setzer; and brother, Fred Hofrichter.
Memorial contributions in Jane's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Volunteer Services at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
