Jane Merridith Davis, 68, passed away Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, at her home in Iowa City. A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at the West Liberty Community Center, 1204 North Calhoun St., West Liberty. Visi-tation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the community center. Family burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, West Liberty. The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty is in charge of arrangements.

Jane was born Jan. 12, 1947, in Iowa City, the daughter of Dwight and Wilma (Merridith) Davis. She was a graduate of West Liberty High School. Jane was employed with Oral B in Iowa City for 45 years. She enjoyed her time volunteering at Mercy Hospital in the gift shop as well as going to the casino and crocheting.
Survivors include her four siblings, Carolyn Aranday of West Liberty, Marilyn (Kenneth) Wilson of Marion, Richard (Kim) Davis of Bella Vista, Ark., and Kathy (Gene) Miller of Iowa City. She also is survived by 12 beloved nieces and nephews, 18 great-nieces and great-nephews and eight great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; sisters, Harriett Theresa and Dorothy Christine; brother-in-law, Sam; nephew, Dennis Myers; and a great-niece, Kelcey Kay Wilson.
