Jane Ann Carson, 56, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014, at her home in Vinton,
surrounded by her loving family and friends. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, conducted by David Upah. Family will greet friends from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, Kelly (Mark) McDonald, Jason (Jenny) Hoffpauir and Dustin Carson; her mother, JoAnn Mayo; one brother, Kenneth McNeely Jr.; grandchildren, Dillon, Cody, Lexi, Gabby, Alexis, Gavin, Kyler and Josh; one great-grandson, Sebastian; many other loving family members and friends; and her faithful companion, Buddy.
She was preceded in death by her father and husband, Daniel.
Jane was born July 5, 1958, in Shelbyville, Ind., daughter of Kenneth and JoAnn (Johnson) McNeely Sr. but was raised by JoAnn and James Mayo.
A memorial fund has been established.
