Janann Wilson, 92, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, May 17, 2015. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 23, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. David Beckman. Visitation will be for one hour before Mass Saturday at the church with a rosary beginning at 9:30 a.m. Burial: Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements are with Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include nine nieces and nephews; 25 great-nieces and nephews; and six great-great-nieces and nephews.
Janann was born Oct. 8, 1922, in Minneapolis, Minn., the daughter of Clifford and Florence (McNamara) Wilson. She was a graduate of the Mount Mercy Academy. Janann worked at Harper McIntyre as the office manager.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Mary Lou Franey, Patt Gamsky and Jerry McCarthy.
Memorials are suggested to Mount Mercy University, Metro Catholic Outreach or St. Matthew Catholic Church.
