Jan M. Feldmann, 32, of Monticello, died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, at Kramer Funeral Home in Monticello, where a parish
rosary will be recited at 2 p.m. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Monticello, with the Rev. Paul Baldwin presiding. Burial will be in the Hopkinton Cemetery.
Jan was born June 26, 1982, in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Arnold and Kay (Kirby) Feldmann. She graduated from Washington High School in Cedar Rapids and worked at Advancement Services in Monticello.
Jan loved bowling and being on the farm with the horses. She also loved looking at photographs, smiley faces, hugs, roses, playing cards, especially Uno, Wheel of Fortune, baby calves and Pepsi.
She never met a stranger and loved everybody.
She is survived by her mother, Kay Feldmann of Monticello; her father, Arnold (Carmen) Feldmann of Hopkinton; siblings, Sara (Jeremy) Venenga of Anamosa, Adam (Angie) Feldmann of Hopkinton and Lori and Abby Feldmann, both at home; five nieces and a nephew, Cecilia, Savanna, Sylvia and Justice Venenga, Anna and Addie Feldmann; her grandparents, Rita (Floyd) Feldmann of Hopkinton; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Juli Feldmann; and her grandparents, Cletus Feldmann and Raymond and Gladys Kirby.
