Jamie Nicole Anderson, 34, of West Des Moines, Iowa, formerly of Indianola, Iowa, passed away Wednesday,
July 11, 2018. Visitation: 5 to
8 p.m. Monday, July 16, 2018, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, with no formal services to follow.
Jamie Nicole Anderson was born May 13, 1984, on Mother's Day, in Iowa City, Iowa. She attended Indianola, Iowa, public schools while growing up. Jamie graduated from La' James cosmetology school and later earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in 2009. She majored in marketing and minored in art. Jamie was very gifted as an artist.
She is survived by her mother, Deborah Schoene; father, Richard Schoene; and special grandmother, Maxine Beard. Jamie also is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She especially will be missed by her parents and her two kitties, Layla and Margaret.
Jamie was preceded in death by John Anderson; her uncle, Tom Shaffer; and her grandparents.
