JAMES WHITE

James White, 61, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on December 14, 2021.
James was born Dec. 18, 1959, in Davenport, Iowa, to Jim and Sharon (Fugate) White.
He lived in various cities growing up
and graduated from high school in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in 1978.
After graduation, he joined the U.S. Army.
He enjoyed woodworking. He worked at Walmart, Manards and various places as a chef.
He lived several years in International Falls, Minn., before moving back to Cedar Rapids in 2020.
He will be greatly missed by those that survive him, his stepmother, Betty, Cedar Rapids; his sister, Jacqueline (Tim) Brown, Galesburg, Ill.; brother, Charles (Bobbie) Davis, Mount Ayr, Iowa; stepbrothers, Alan (Amy) Brockhohn, Swisher, Iowa, and Sammie Davis and wife, Des Moines; and stepsisters, Mariltn (Ron) Ehrle, Cedar Rapids, Alisa (Jerry) Payton, Des Moines and Ruthann (Dick) Nichols, Cambridge, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim White of Cedar Rapids and Sharon Davis of Mount Ayr, Iowa; as well as his grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
Following his wishes there was no viewing or service. Memorials may be made Wounded Warriors.
