James Wilbur (Weir) Baskerville, 100, died Sept. 12, 2015, at Bickford Cottage in Iowa City.
Weir farmed until his retirement in 1980. He moved to Iowa City in 2007 to be near his daughters.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Iris; parents; two siblings; and his son-in-law, Richard Montross.
Weir is survived by his daughters, Barbara Montross and Jill Baskerville of Iowa City.
His family would like to thank the staff at Bickford Cottage for their care of Weir.
Weir has donated his body to the University of Iowa's Deeded Body Program.
