James "Pup" David Ackerman, formerly of North English, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021, at his home in Wayland at the age of 59 years. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, at Powell Funeral Home in North English. Burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The memorial service will be livestreamed on the Powell Funeral Homes Facebook page and website.
