James Peter Koopmann, 51, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Sharon Koopmann of Manchester; four children, Andy (Andrea) Koopmann of Wilton, Adam (Samantha) Koopmann of Cedar Rapids, Amanda (Jeremy) Burke of Central City, and Aaron (Chasta Burns) Koopmann of Delhi; six grandchildren, Natalie and Rosalynn Koopmann, Hadley and Wyatt Koopmann, Bodhi Burke and Georgia Koopmann; his siblings, Carol (Frank) O'Connell of Delhi, Joseph Koopmann of Delhi, Julie (Alan) Metternich of Nauvoo, Ill., Susan (Steve) Nadermann of Delhi, Marla (Jim) Finck of Greenfield, Joan (Gregg) Peters of Hopkinton, John P. (LaRae) Koopmann of Delhi, Mary (David) La Mar of Ames and Jeff Koopmann of Delhi; his mother-in-law, Doris Offerman of Earlville; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Dennis (Dixie) Offerman of Earlville, Dick (Kathy) Offerman of Earlville, Deb (Dave) Scherbring of Manchester, Darlene (Marve) Ries of Delaware, Donna (Steve) Schuman of Greeley, Delores (Ben) Kent of Manchester, and Jean (Tom) Hoeger of New Vienna; and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2018, at St. John Catholic Church in Delhi, Iowa, with the Rev. John Kremer officiating.

Visitation: 2 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, 2018, at St. John Catholic Church in Delhi, where there will be a 7:30 p.m. Scripture service. Friends also may call from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church on Monday.

Interment: St. John Catholic Cemetery, Delhi, Iowa.
