James Patrick Mahnke, 60, passed away surrounded by family at Mercy Hospice on Feb. 18, 2025. James was born to John and Regina Mahnke on March 19, 1964. James is survived by wife Cece Mahnke, children Melissa (Dave) Thomas and Anthony Bridgeman, uncle Jerry Robertson, brothers John (Jeanette) and Joe (Misty) Mahnke, and sisters Rebecca (Daniel) Voss and Kim (Dusty) Minor. James had many nieces, nephews and friends who also held a special place in his heart.
James lived a life full of adventure and stories. He lived for excitement and could not be bound to a normal life. James was the definition of a free spirit. Knowing his spirit and heart, God gave him the ultimate pardon so he may continue his adventures in heaven with those who have gone before him.
James was a man of celebration so we will honor him with a celebration of life March 15 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Salvation Army, 1000 C Ave. NW. Memorials can be directed to the family.
