James T. Morrow, 70, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, March 26, 2016. Memorial service: 1 p.m. Thursday, March 31, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. David Beckman. Inurnment: Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his brother, John (Jodi) Morrow of Cedar Rapids; sister, Nancy Mann of Des Moines; niece, Mary Morrow; and nephew, Phillip Mann.
Jim was born Jan. 7, 1946, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Clark and Marian (Bacher) Morrow. He spent many years with the REM Iowa family and working in the workshops.
His family is grateful for the care and compassion at the REM Mansfield Home and the REM workshops in Mount Vernon and Hiawatha and Hospice of Mercy. Jim's life was difficult and challenging, but he is now at peace.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Kathleen Morrow; and nephew, Bradley Mann.
