James Michael Doyne Sr., 83, passed away Saturday, May 24, at his home surrounded by family. Jim was born on June 27, 1941, in Clinton, IA to Raymond and Irene Doyne. Jim married Joyce Edens on June 10, 1961. He worked in radio for 40 years on WMT in Cedar Rapids, IA.
Jim is survived by his wife of 63 years, Joyce; Daughter, Deborah (James) Davies; and Son, James Doyne Jr. of Cedar Rapids, IA; Grandsons, Andrew (Alexa) Davies and Dr. Daniel Davies of Portland, OR and Dr. Michael Davies of Seattle, WA.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be sent to FaithLife Lutheran Church in Marion, IA.
