JAMES RUSSELL LYNN

James Russell Lynn, 47, of Oelwein, originally of Cedar Rapids, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at Grandview Nursing Home in Oelwein.
A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 4, at Asbury United Methodist Church, Cedar Rapids, where the family will greet friends one hour before the service. Burial will follow at Czech National Cemetery in Cedar Rapids.
James was born July 14, 1968, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Russell and Dolores (Smrha) Lynn of Cedar Rapids.
He is survived by his parents and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Laurie Ann Lynn; and grandparents, Milo and Agnes Smrha, Walter and Vinnie Lynn and Edna Lynn.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Asbury United Methodist Church.
