James D. "Jim" Luse, 81, of Marion, passed away Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, at Willow Gardens Care Center in Marion after battling a long illness. Per Jim's wishes, there will be no services. A private burial will take place at Oak Shade Cemetery. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion.
Survivors include his wife, Sally; two children, Shari (Mike) Stark of Marion and Mark (Kim) Luse of St. Cloud, Minn.; grandson, Aaron Stark of Marion; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Chuck and Linda Reed of Corydon.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Edna Mae.
Jim was born in Centerville, Iowa, on Oct. 11, 1934. He worked for many years at Harnishfeger Corporation until it closed. Jim then worked for F&W Services.
