James Lewis Olinger, 88,
of Strawberry Point, Iowa, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2019, at his home.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Mary Marlene Olinger of Strawberry Point; four children, Jerry (Marlene) Olinger of Elkader, Mariann (Virgil) Pilola of Clinton, Gene (Geraldine) Olinger of Strawberry Point and Mark (Laura) Olinger of Anamosa; three grandchildren, Brittani (Tyler) Reuter, Paul Olinger and Alec Pilola; three sisters, Joan (John) McInerney of Cedar Rapids, Linda Moine of Strawberry Point and Janell (Bob) Boyd of Mount Carmel, Tenn.; and a brother-in-law, Leonard Smith of Terrell, Texas.

Mass of Resurrection: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2019, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Strawberry Point, with the Rev. John Haugen presiding.
Visitation: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, July 12, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Strawberry Point, Iowa, where there will be a 6:30 p.m. scripture service.
Inurnment: St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Strawberry Point, Iowa.
