JAMES E. LEFEBURE

James E. Lefebure, 88, formerly of Cedar Rapids, went to be with the Lord on April 23, 2018, in Logansport, Ind., where he resided since the mid-1960s.
On Nov. 22, 1958, in Cedar Rapids, Jim was married to Patricia Rensch, who survives.
Jim was a graduate of St. Bede Academy, Peru, Ill., and earned a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Iowa State University. He served in the U.S. Navy.
Jim was from a large Lefebure family in the Cedar Rapids area. He was employed at Wilson Foods in Cedar Rapids and Logansport. He had been a member of St. Ludmila's Catholic Church.
He is also survived by sons, Curt Lefebure, Crete, Neb., and Craig Lefebure, Lafayette, Ind.; daughter, Julee (Dan) Hildebrand, Logansport; sister, Clare (James) O'Meara, Bethesda, Md.; and grandchildren, James Hildebrand, Austen Hildebrand and Jaimie Lefebure.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, at Kroeger Funeral Home, 711 E. Market St., Logansport, IN 46947. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at All Saints Catholic Church, Logansport. Interment with full military honors in Mount Hope Cemetery.
