James Michael Kruse passed away after a long illness on Saturday, June 16, 2018.
He was born on April 10, 1952. He is survived by his longtime dear and special friend, Lori Schneider; his daughter, Kerianne; sisters, Kathleen and Mary; brothers-in-law, Ron and Jim; many nieces and nephews; Amanda, Zach and Brandy, who were very special to him; and his beloved pets.
He graduated from LaSalle High School and attended Kirkwood Community College. He was a dedicated auto mechanic for Allen's 66 for over 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents (his dad passed away when Mike was 5); stepfather; all of his grandparents; a niece, Andrea; a nephew, Brian; and many aunts and uncles.
There will be a celebration of his life at Cooter's Bar and Grill on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at 1 p.m. It's a potluck, and instead of flowers, all donations are to be given to Mike's pet fund.
