James W. Klenk, 62, died early Sunday morning, Jan. 18, 2015, at home in Viola after a short battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie; four children,
Jeremy Klenk, Jill (Brent) Conner, Dustin (Jennifer) Johnson and Sara (Mark) Whitley; his mother, Kathyrn; two sisters, Verna (Charles) Patton and Vera; a brother, Alan and family; six nephews, Randy, Dustin, Darron, Trevor, Rusty and Wesley; in-laws, Mary Cady and Otis and Judy Jarvis; and a large extended family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wesley; friend and brother-in-law, Bob Johnson; and stepfather-in-law, Cliff Cady.
Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with family and friends and his dog, Peyton.
He will be greatly missed by family, friends and his work family at Actera.
Jim wished to be remembered as he was in life, so as he requested, there will be no formal services. Burial will take place at a later date. Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa, has been entrusted to care for James and his family.
