James, Julia 'Julie'
Julia “Julie” James, formerly Julia Thomas, of West Des Moines, died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, of ovarian cancer at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Cremation rites have been accorded. Private inurnment will be delayed until another time. A celebration of life will be held in January.
Julia is survived by her husband, Steve; her daughter, Jennifer (Alan) Spring of Ransomville, N.Y.; her son, Carl (Katie) Seidler of Winterset; her sister, Jo (Tom) Lilley of Lancaster, Texas; four grandsons; and one granddaughter.
