James Jr., Richard Wade 'Rick'
Richard Wade “Rick” James Jr., 28, of Woodbine, Iowa, died Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4300 Trailridge Rd. SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his mother, Vicky Kuruc of Marion; his daughter, Leena James of Woodbine; his sister, Jennette (Scott) Davidson of Marion; two brothers, John (Jeana) Miller of Central City and Tim Miller of Cedar Rapids; grandmother, Francis (Frankie) Brown of Truth or Consequences, N.M.; and grandfather, Byron Fannin of Roswell, N.M.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Wade James Sr.
Rick was born Aug. 20, 1981, in Albuquerque, N.M. He was a welder and a member of the NRA.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
