James “Jim” Ray Keasler, 76, of Iowa City, Iowa passed away Oct. 14, 2022, at Legacy Pointe.
He leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Kathryn (Roepke) Keasler of Iowa City, Iowa; one daughter, Naomi (Andy) Werner of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; two sons, Samuel (Morgan) Keasler of Ankeny, Iowa, and Matthew (Anne) Keasler of Iowa City, Iowa; and one grandson, Lincoln Albert Keasler of Ankeny, Iowa. Also surviving is one sister, Joanne (Billy) McCranie of Longview, Texas, and one brother, David (Cynthia) Keasler of Palm Coast, Fla.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Samuel and Mae Elizabeth (Waldron) Keasler; one brother, Michael Keasler, and parents-in-law, Albert and LaVon (Watson) Roepke.
Honoring his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be planned in the coming weeks and details will be posted when decided at www.lensingfuneral.com.
