James Allen Jansen, 47, of Elberon, died Monday, June 29, 2015. Funeral services will be held at the Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine, Iowa, on Monday, July 6, at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Johnson presiding. Burial will take place in Union Cemetery, Hartwick, Iowa. Visitation will be Monday at the funeral home from noon until service time.
Survivors include his parents, Leonard and Monica Jansen of Toledo; son, Christopher (fiancee Kristin McDermott) of Van Horne; daughter, Tristin Jansen of Cedar Rapids; brother, Lenny Jansen Jr. of Toledo; two sisters, Angela (Darrell) Cannon of Palo and Elizabeth Jansen of Toledo; and many nieces and nephews. The casket will remain closed at all times.
