JAMES J. LACEY

Jim Lacey passed away on Feb. 16, 2021, at Mercy Medical Center Cedar Rapids. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Marie and their daughters Shawn Marie and Cynthia Joy. He also is survived by Shawn's children and their spouses, Douglas and Rebecca Eggebrecht, Evelyn and Kelsey Eggebrecht, and Heidemarie and Josue Olivares; as well as Cynthia's children, John Lee Armstrong and Richard Ernest Armstrong. His five great-grandchildren breathed life into to him for his last years on this earth: Lillith, Daniel, Grayson, Adelyn and Anthony. He also is survived by his eight siblings and cousin Jerry Wenzel.
He was preceded in death by his son, James; and his parents. He cherished every moment he spent with his family. A service will be held in the spring in Cedar Rapids.
