James J. Bennett, 72, of Bullhead City, Ariz., passed away on Oct. 8, 2023, after a long illness.
Jim was born in Belle Plaine, Iowa, on June 20, 1951, to John and Dolores (Musel) Bennett.
He graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1969 and entered the U.S. Navy that same year, proudly serving his country until 1973 during the Vietnam conflict.
He is survived by his wife Debbie, son Joey (Amanda) Bennett, granddaughters Hannah and Ava Bennett, all of Orange Park, Fla., sister Pat Birch (Ray Fuller) of Cedar Rapids, twin brother John (Linda) Bennett of DeMotte, Ind., stepdaughter Krista Woodford of Grass Valley, Calif., and mother-in-law Sharal Scheve of Oregan.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Rick Birch. There will be no services.
