James Ernest Green of Ann's Choice Community, Warminster, Pa., passed away Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015, at the Renaissance Garden Nursing Home. He was 82 years old.
Born in Parnell, Iowa, he was the son of the late Arthur and Geraldine (nee Kelly) Green of South English, Iowa. He was the beloved husband of the late, Kathleen E. (nee Badsmir) Green and loving father of Kevin F. Green (John Fellin) of Doylestown, Pa. Also surviving is a family member, Mary Alice Jennings of Williamsburg, Iowa.
James served as a staff sergeant 35th Infantry Co. G in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired as an executive after a long career with Kemper Insurance Co. He was very involved with the Boy Scouts of America and led the SPRED Program for the Archdiocese of Chicago.
Relatives and friends will be received after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until time of his funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Nativity Of Our Lord Church, 625 W. Street Rd., Warminster, Pa. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
