James Cooks, 64, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Memorial services: 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, at Bethel AME Church, Cedar Rapids, with the Rev. William C. Perkins officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Wendi E. Cooks; children, Eric Howard and Erica Robertson; brothers, Jessie, Danny and Charles Cooks; sisters, Chris Cooks, Debra Collins and Judy Hillard; and two grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his father, James; mother, Lucille; and brother, Thomas.
James was born Dec. 9, 1950, and worked at Cargill for 35 years.
