Strawberry Point
James McLeod Brown, 95, of Strawberry Point, died Monday, Nov. 16, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Funeral service with military rites: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, Edgewood Bible Church, with the Rev. Jim Rinehart officiating. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home, Strawberry Point. Friends may also call one hour before the service Saturday at the church. Inurnment at a later date: Cass Township Cemetery, Strawberry Point.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his five sons, Gary (Joan) of Strawberry Point, Randall (Trallee) of Lafayette, N.J., Don (Mickie) of Castle Rock, Colo., and Jule (Barbara) and Scott (Mary Jo), all of Arlington; 12 grand-children; and 21 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of floral arrangements, donations may be directed to the Edgewood Bible Church Family Life Center, 107 S. Washington St., Edgewood, IA 52042; or the Strawberry Point Lutheran Home, 313 Elkader St., Strawberry Point, IA 52076.
