James Kent Arnold Sr., 74, died Thursday, April 14, 2016, at his rural Aurora home. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 18, at Church of Christ United in Winthrop. Burial: Fremont Township Cemetery, north of Winthrop. Visitation: 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 17, at Fawcett Funeral Home in Winthrop, where Masonic services will be 5 p.m. Sunday, and after 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church in Winthrop.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley, of Aurora; six children, James Kent (Sheri) Arnold Jr. of Independence, Scott J. (Angela) Arnold of Altoona, James (Meshell) Hawkins of Independence, Michael Hawkins of Sacramento, Calif., Christine (John) Kerkove of Independence and Sue Ann (Ron) Hoefer of Masonville; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his brother, Robert Arnold of Somerville, Tenn.
