James Allen Kvetensky, 49, of Marion, Iowa, passed away July 15, 2021, at UnityPoint-St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. There will be
no visitation because of COVID-19. There will be a chapel service at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories.
He was born July 26, 1971, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of William and Martha Kvetensky. Jim was a manager of Coastal Mart for 10 years and worked for Roto Rooter for 10 years. He was affiliated with Squaw Creek Baptist Church in Marion, Iowa. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved life and helping others.
Survivors include his daughter, Kristin; his mother, Martha; his ex-wife, Lisa Kvetensky; and two special cousins, Gail Brunius of Houston, Texas, and Robert Brunius of Orcus Island, Wash.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Kvetensky.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family.
