JACQUELINE "JACKIE" KAY OXLEY

Jacqueline "Jackie" Kay Oxley, 71, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Friday, July 5, 2019, surrounded by her loving husband and family. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. July 26 at Atkins Pavilion.
Jackie was born in Cedar Rapids to John and Viola Jennings on July 4, 1948. She attended Mount Vernon High School and later attended Capri Beauty School. She married Richard Oxley on Nov. 10, 2000, in Cedar Rapids.
Jackie's smile and laugh were contagious. She loved spending time with her friends, reading, camping, doing crafts and riding her Harley. She was a very proud member of the Northern Cherokee Nation.
Jackie was preceded in death by two of her sons, Jarrett Jonathan Ulrich and Christophor Lee Palmer; her parents, John Byron Jennings and Viola Nequa (Jones) Jennings; and a sister, Dee Dingman.
Jackie is survived by her husband, Richard Oxley; her children, Cameron (Patty) Ulrich of St. Louis, Mo., and Kimberly Ulrich of Lisbon; stepchildren, Adam (Melissa) Oxley of Lisbon, Nicolas (Jessica) Oxley of Cedar Rapids and Megan Oxley of Cedar Rapids; sisters, Vionne Darsee of Des Moines, Kathleen (Ben) Jamison of Lisbon, Andrea (Jerry) Robinson of Carmel, Calif., and Angela Jennings Beitling of Pearce, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
