Jacqueline “Jackie” Joy Terpkosh, 68, of Cedar Rapids, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022, at St. Luke’s Hospital. Private family services will be held in the spring at Czech National Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids is caring for Jackie and her family.
Jackie was born July 15, 1954, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of John Louis and June Maree (Melick) Wieneke. She married Jody Terpkosh on Oct. 20, 2010, in Eureka Springs, Ark. Jackie worked at Rockwell Collins, the Linn County Sherriff’s Office as a dispatcher, and retired from Radiology Consultants of Iowa-RCI in Cedar Rapids. She enjoyed family gatherings, playing games, going to the casino, live theatre, going to movies, Kernels, reading, crocheting and had a love for collecting anything that had to do with kangaroos and dolphins. She was a member Trinity Lutheran Church. Jackie will be remembered as a friendly and helpful person. We will always remember her loving smile.
Jackie is survived by her husband, Jody; stepsons, Travis and Lucas Terpkosh; siblings, Michael Wieneke, Janet (Darrell) Benish, Daryl (Ana) Wieneke and Jeri Wieneke; nieces, Monica Benish and Michelle (Bill) Kirk; nephews, Darrek (Melissa) Benish, John (Kristen Corral) Wieneke, Dustin (Tiffany) Benish, Robert Michael (Angel Telles) Jimenez, David (Leigh) Benish and Xandar Jimenez-Wieneke; great-nieces, Vanessa Kirk, Sydney Reeves, Ryleigh Reeves, Ainslee Wieneke and Addison Benish; great-nephews, Jacobi Benish, Samuel Benish, Gabriel Benish and Kayden Telles Jimenez; great-great-nephew, Alijah Avalos; and numerous cousins, extended family and many numerous friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
