Jacobs, Lorena K.
Lorena K. Jacobs, 89, of Marengo, died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, at Rose Haven Nursing Home, Marengo. Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, First Lutheran Church, Conroy, with Pastor Don Dovre officiating. Burial will be in the First Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. today at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo.
Memorials may be contributed to First Lutheran Church, Conroy.
Lorena is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Stursa (Jim) of Owatonna, Minn.; her son, Jim Jacobs of Conroy; sisters, Ethel Baker (Ray) of Cedar Rapids, and Norma Silhanek (Richard) of Keystone; sisters-in-law, Helen Folkmann of Keystone, and Betty Jacobs of Iowa City; two granddaughters, Jamie Tech (John) of Owatonna, Minn., and Kelli Sackett (Greg), also of Owatonna; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Anna Witte Folkmann; her husband, Eugene in 2004; a brother, Herbert Folkmann; a sister, Dorthea Boog; sisters-in-law, Caryl Haack and Ruth Underberg; and a brother-in-law, Dean Jacobs.
