Jacobs, Belle Elizabeth Hoffman
Belle Elizabeth Hoffman Jacobs, 66, of Mechanicsville, formerly of Mount Vernon, died Thursday, July 23, 2009, in Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Her body was donated to the University of Iowa Anatomy Department for research. Burial will be at a later date at Hale Cemetery. Arrangements with Morgan Funeral and Cremation Choices, Mount Vernon Chapel.
Surviving Belle are her husband, Larry; daughter, Donna Wood, and grandson, Paul Fugate, all of Mechanicsville; and two sisters, Velva Zirklebach, Lisbon, and Kate Sweet, Cedar Rapids.
Belle was working as a cashier for Wal-Mart at Tipton.
