Jack Trimble, 63, of Marion, died Monday, April 7, 2014, after a sudden illness. Weather permitting, the family will be gathering in Thomas Park from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 11, to honor Jack's life. For more

Jack was born Sept. 15, 1950, in Cedar Rapids, to John and Lorraine (Kramer) Trimble. He was married to Cindy Ann Berry on Feb. 26, 1972, in Marion. He was employed by Northway Well and Pump as a maintenance and installation technician.
Jack enjoyed people watching and could strike up a conversation with anyone he met. He loved watching movies and truly enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandkids.
He is survived by two sons, Jason (Marcy) Trimble of Cedar Rapids and Corey (Courtney) Trimble of Marion; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Jan (Dennis) Dollarhide of Milwaukee and Joanne Morris of Marion.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife in 2012; and an infant daughter, Melissa.
